- Poseidon's Gate™ is an undersea adventure, starting at the ocean surface and descending to the sea floor more than 100 fathoms down while battling dangerous sea creatures. You control a deep-sea Diver featuring innovative graphics the likes of which have seldom graced an Atari 2600 game screen!
- The weighted Diver sinks inexorably to the sea floor, finding supplemental air tanks along the way. Once reaching the sea floor the Diver must locate a stranded mini-sub in a disastrous situation!
- Located behind Poseidon's Gate, the mini-sub is found to be stranded in Shark Grotto surrounded by frenzied sharks. Armed only with a harpoon gun the Diver hopes to rescue his friends.
- Even if the Diver is able to help the mini-sub to escape, he is barely halfway done with his mission. Can he find a way to return to the safety of the surface and his ship? Or was this a suicide mission? Play the game and find out!
- The game also features a STATUS screen that shows in-game statistics, including the start-to-finish elapsed game timer for the speed runners among us.
- Every game ROM is numbered with a unique serial number and other cryptographic features that ensure the sanctity of each collectible copy of the game.
